Partner Profile : James Braund
James Braund and Floate go way back. Back before Floate was even founded, in fact. James and Ross Floate first met while working on the same publication for Fairfax back in the mid 1990’s. They struck up a friendship based on a mutual appreciation of each other’s work, and have been firm friends ever since.
James has worked with us on a large number of projects, most notably on our award-winning work for the Royal Women’s Hospital. What we love about him is his ability to get to the truth of any situation, and his tireless and unflappable pursuit of the perfect shot. What clients love about him is that he’s one of the industry’s genuinely nice people, and an interesting guy to boot. And when clients and subjects like the photographer, they open up. And that’s when we get magical shots.
But don’t take our word for it. Have a look at his website, and see for yourself.
P.S: He didn’t take the picture for this story. Ross Floate’s iPhone takes full responsibility for that.
